Come to Minecraft Camp – an adventure for creative minds!

At our cool Minecraft camp, you can discover the exciting and fascinating world of Minecraft together with other Minecraft kids. Whether you're already a Minecraft pro or just starting out - it's always exciting and there's lots to learn! Every participant can take something away with them and will be well looked after by our qualified IT trainers!

We start at 09:00 in the morning:

After a small camp breakfast, you'll dive deep into Minecraft! You can build big, awesome worlds, set up your own Minecraft server, try out cool MODs and plugins or just play together with other kids. If you like, you can even take part in Minecraft building competitions and show what you've got! You'll also learn about the LINUX operating system through play - that's the computer we use here. By the end of the camp, you'll be able to create and configure your own private Minecraft server and play with your friends!

    Lunch

A successful camp day also includes a great lunch! We go to the restaurant in the Gasometer-Entertainment Center together. There is usually an extensive buffet where you can choose whatever you like. Drinks are also included! If you have any special dietary requirements, we will be happy to take these into consideration.

    After lunch:

Then we continue with lots of fun! When the weather is nice, we go to the Praterwald forest or to our own playground and explore the surroundings, play soccer and basketball or go geocaching. When it's cold outside, we stay in the camp and continue building our Minecraft projects. Or we do exciting activities such as bowling in the Gasometer or play tennis, table tennis, squash or badminton at the nearby sports center.

    And very importantly:

Of course, there's no shortage of fun - MinecraftCamp is super exciting and great fun with your new, like-minded friends! If you like, you also have the opportunity to fly a drone or print your creative ideas on our 3D printers!

Come along and have a cool time at MinecraftCamp - we look forward to seeing you!

Please note that for organizational reasons the morning and afternoon program can be swapped!

Level - for beginners and advanced

You will definitely be able to take something away from us. Whether you are a beginner or have already gained some experience, there is something for everyone! Especially the technology behind Minecraft will open up many new possibilities for you! We have participants who have been coming to us for several years.

    Monday - Friday from 09:00 to 16:00

The weekly camp starts every day at 09:00 and lasts until 16:00. Admission starts at 08:30 a.m. with a small breakfast in preparation for a super exciting day! From 12:00 to 13:00 there is a lunch break, with a meal together in the restaurant. From 4:00 p.m., participants can be picked up, or - if desired - go home alone.

    Costs and services

The cost of a week at the camp is EUR 399.90. Everything is included - from breakfast, snacks, lunch (usually buffet) in the restaurant with drinks to leisure activities, use of laptops, software licenses and server provision costs

    Face-to-face lessons on our laptops

The day camp takes place in our 3rd district near U3 station Gasometer. You will be working on a LINUX based computer. Don't worry, LINUX is now very similar to the interface of Windows. You will quickly find your way around and we will be happy to support you in your first steps with LINUX!

    Daily routine

In one half of the day, you will explore the exciting Minecraft world together with your camp colleagues and our team of trainers - in the other half of the day, you will have fun in the fresh air. To the swimming pool, geo caching, playing football or basketball, to the adventure playground. In bad weather, we watch a cool movie with popcorn or go to the Racket-Sport Center.

    Drones & 3D Printers

In our large IT room there are also drones and 3D printers that we can try out together. Let your creativity run wild, print out your design and take it home with you. If you want, you can also fly a lap with one of our drones!

Questions & answers about the camp

What is the concrete benefit of the summer camp for me?

You will master new challenges alone or in small teams and constantly develop yourself further. In addition to many tips and tricks, we will explore various extensions of the game together and install plug-ins and mods. This will make it even more fun to get creative and play together! You will be supervised by a cool team of trainers all day long

What happens if I don't understand something or it becomes too boring for me?

We have enough trainers available for you. So there is always the opportunity to help you individually, or to go through topics separately or in a small group that may still seem too complex for others. In addition, we always have a few exercises in stock for which there is normally not enough time, but if you are quick at it, you are welcome to do them too!

Is there also play at the holiday camp?

Yes of course! That's also part of it. We create our own private server and can then play on it together, try out various things or organize a building competition where you can prove your creativity!

Can I use the Minecraft server from home?

During the camp, you can also reach our server from home! If you want to continue using it beyond that, talk to us, we will surely find a good wag for it!

This holiday camp is all about the internationally popular game Minecraft. The children learn to improve not only in the game, but also in the surrounding area. This includes network knowledge, the Linux operating system, securing the server with a firewall, managing access permissions, installing JAVA, customizing plug-in ́s and much more!

MINECRAFT is a safe game and is released from the age of 7 (in creative mode from 6 years old). Rather, it encourages creativity instead of brutality, as is common in many other games. With a lot of love and ambition, impressive worlds full of great buildings and animals can be created.

Each student can set their own pace - one is faster, one is slower. That's no problem here with us! We have prepared many different ideas - there is something for everyone! As always in IT, knowledge of English is of course an advantage, but not mandatory!

Secure your place on the desired date today!

Experience has shown that the camps are already booked intensively at the beginning of the year, and especially after the semester break. Therefore, secure your place in good time - we work in small groups, so places are very limited. Ask your parents to book for you!

    What others say about us

    quote

My son was at Minecraft summer camp and was completely thrilled. At first he thought he already knew his way around and knew everything. He has learned a lot and we have already had to rent a server for him. Now he often plays with his friends on his own server! Thank you very much!

    quote

Our daughter was totally thrilled with the Minecraft Camp. She only knew the game from hearsay and now wanted to try it out herself. The patient trainers have shown her everything, and she can now build small houses, and is very happy about her chicken coop, which she built herself and filled with chickens.

Our 9-year-old son really enjoyed the Minecraft camp, it was a perfect mix of PC time and leisure activities. He felt very comfortable, and the physical well-being was also taken care of to his complete satisfaction. We will book again next year for sure.
